It can be programmed to automatically lift the front side brush when it detects wet areas, and clean up debris around corners and baseboards.

The Eufy S1 Pro is an amazingly powerful vacuum and mop combination that has been developed to be user-friendly. The gunmetal base station automatically fills up its own tank with clean water, then empty the dust bin into a smaller bin and washes and dries its own mop pads in between cleaning sessions. It is equipped with advanced features that let it switch between carpets and hard surfaces, and remove pet hair from carpets and clean thresholds for rooms that are raised.
The S1 Pro has excellent navigation and mapping, thanks to its internal dToF system. It can maintain an unobtrusive appearance while providing top-notch object detection. It can drive close to walls without crashing and avoiding steps, and it can also raise its mop when driving over rugs and carpets with a short pile. However, it did struggle with carpets with a longer pile and also large, thick messes of dried-on debris.
Like many robots like it, the S1 Pro comes ready to take off from the box, and requires only the initial mapping run to learn its way around your home. Once that's done the map will be displayed in the app and rooms can be added or merged depending on the need. You can also create virtual boundaries areas, no-go zones and no-mop areas if you don't want the robot to touch certain objects.
The S1 Pro does a great job of cleaning up messes from hard floors, thanks to its rotating mop head that puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to vacuum and mop makes it a good choice for homes with both types of flooring however, its reliance on a Eufy-branded cleaning solution (which is included in the box) could make it less flexible than other robots that let you make your own cleaning solutions.
